- Role
- SJSU Esports Supervisor Lead & Graphic Designer
- Tools
- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Lightroom
Overview
SJSU Esports represents San José State University in games like Overwatch, Valorant, and League of Legends. We host matches, gaming events, and recruitment drives to connect players and fans. Our content builds school spirit and strengthens our place in collegiate esports.
Goals
- Increase event visibility and attendance
- Create a reusable, on-brand social system (story/feed/reel)
- Improve engagement (views, saves, shares) and posting speed
Challenge
- Inconsistent posts across games, rushed turnarounds, and mixed-quality photos.
- No reusable system; engagement and event visibility were uneven.
Solution
- Built a modular template system (Story, Feed, Reel) in Photoshop/Illustrator.
- Standardized brand kit (type, color, grids) + quick motion presets.
